1) Perform Weight Training 4-5 Times per week.
2) Focus on big, compound movements that use your whole body. eg: Squats, Deadlifts, Chinups, Bench press, kettlebells.
3) Place most of your carbohydrate intake around your workout… Most of it coming after your workout.
4) Perform Foam Rolling on your whole body, and use elastic/rubber bands for your arms, and shoulders.
5) Sleep! Dont stay up late watching Netflix, playing Call Of Duty, or on the CheeseBurger.Com Network
6) Do not fear eggs, red meat, or healthy fats (fish, coconut, olive, macadamia nut oils). The omega fats in these items are hugely beneficial, don’t let the government scare you!
7) Always beat one aspect of your logbook; a rep, 1lbs, 1 more set, slightly less rest.
8) Keep a log book. You dont know where your going unless you know where you have been.
Does anyone have any other tips that they use? Please post a comment!
Damn, I always stay up late watching Netflix….LOL:)
good sleep sets the place for the rest of my day as well… which in turn helps with lifting.
